About Colorado Center for Neuroscience

Colorado Center for Neuroscience, PC, is the practice of Steven H. Spillers, MD.

Dr. Spillers is a neurologist with fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology. He graduated from Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in 1988. He completed internship, neurology residency, and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at UCLA. He has been in practice since 1994. He is board certified in clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. His practice, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, reaches across the nation. He specializes in providing clinical neurophysiology services via secure remote telemedicine connection to hospitals nationwide.

Clinical neurophysiology is a subspecialty of neurology that includes EEG, cEEG (or ICU-EEG), IONM, and LTME.

Developments in digital technology have enhanced the ability to acquire, store, rapidly transmit, and review data relating to nervous system function. Digital systems are now the industry standard and allow real time review of these tests as indicated.

Dr. Spillers functions as a primary reader for EEG, IONM, and LTME, or as a backup reader for hospitals who have other neurologists on staff but may need back up from time to time.
